Bar bender and fixer — Lancashire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Lancashire, England. What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Day-to-day duties: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine Part-time with flexible hours.
