Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press machine operator in Kenedy County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Rotating shifts.
