Panel welder — Gwandu

Join our team: we are hiring a panel welder in Gwandu, Kebbi State. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Willing to work shifts and overtime Day to day you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. 6+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
