Now hiring: we are hiring a commis chef in Carroll County, Georgia. You will be based in a hospital or office canteen. You should have: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure Day-to-day duties: • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases Rotating shifts.
