Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in Coos County, New Hampshire. Ideal candidate: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice Day-to-day duties: • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
