CNC milling operator — Upson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Upson County, Georgia. You will be based at a busy machine shop. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron The role involves: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
