Immediate opening: we are hiring a bricklayer in Vinton County, Ohio. You will work on a new-build development. On a typical shift you will erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. Ideal candidate: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
