Now hiring: we are hiring a press operator in Northwest Arctic Borough, Alaska. On a typical shift you will set up and change stamping dies and tooling; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; record output and downtime on the production sheet; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely. Ideal candidate: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Part-time with flexible hours.
