Flatlock machine operator wanted in West Baton Rouge Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Full-time, day shift.
