Scaffolding supervisor • Montgomery County, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in Montgomery County, Virginia. The job is at a shipyard. Ideal candidate: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold Day-to-day duties: • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $130 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
