Fry cook — Bremer County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fry cook in Bremer County, Iowa. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. On a typical shift you will prepare the mise en place before each service; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes. Requirements: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards Full-time with occasional weekends.
