MIG welder — Dillon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG welder in Dillon County, South Carolina. You will work at a busy production line. Day-to-day duties: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes 2+ years on the tools preferred.
