Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Elbert County, Colorado. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage Day to day you will fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
