Urgent requirement: we are hiring a confectioner in Hutchinson County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks On a typical shift you will score the top of loaves before baking; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream.
