Vacancy available: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Chowan County, North Carolina. The role involves: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Part-time with flexible hours.
