Maintenance plumber — Montgomery County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a maintenance plumber in Montgomery County, Virginia. You will be based at a sanitaryware showroom with a fitting service. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of PPR, CPVC, PVC and GI pipe systems • Familiar with pressure testing and leak detection Your main tasks: • Fit and seal taps, mixers, stopcocks and gate valves • Trace and clear blockages in drains, traps and gully pits • Cut, thread and join pipes with solvent cement or threaded connections • Install and repair water supply lines using PPR, CPVC and GI fittings • Lay soil and waste drainage lines to the correct fall Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
