Vacancy available: we are hiring a window glazier in Gray County, Texas. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. On a typical shift you will crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash. Requirements: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
