Now hiring: shuttering carpenter (Massachusetts)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Hampden County, Massachusetts. You will be based on a busy high-rise construction site. Day to day you will erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse. What we are looking for: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
