Chef de partie — Assumption Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a chef de partie in Assumption Parish, Louisiana. Requirements: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure Day to day you will chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
