Foundry worker • Sandoval County, New Mexico

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry worker in Sandoval County, New Mexico. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. On the job you will handle: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling 5+ years on the tools preferred.
