Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Macomb County, Michigan. The job is at a reinforced concrete building site. Ideal candidate: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites On a typical shift you will check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters.
