Vacancy available: we are hiring a mosaic tiler in Whatcom County, Washington. The job is on a commercial fit-out project. Day-to-day duties: • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line Requirements: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience.
