Immediate opening: mobile crane operator (New York)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Dutchess County, New York. You should have: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes Your main tasks: • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
