Window glazier — York County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a window glazier in York County, Pennsylvania. Your main tasks: • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam You should have: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) 2+ years on the tools preferred.
