Refrigeration technician — Nassau County

Join our team: we are hiring a refrigeration technician in Nassau County, New York. The job is at a busy refrigeration workshop. The role involves: • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter Ideal candidate: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders 4+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
