Mining dozer operator — Alexander County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Alexander County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse Requirements: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
