Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Monroe County, Iowa. The job is in lofts and crawl spaces. On a typical shift you will install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors. What we are looking for: • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Able to read construction drawings and specifications Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience.
