Banksman wanted in Deuel County

Join our team: we are hiring a banksman in Deuel County, Nebraska. You will be based at a shipyard. On a typical shift you will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
