Die-casting operator wanted in Jenkins County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Jenkins County, Georgia. The job is at a busy iron foundry. On the job you will handle: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Ideal candidate: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection 4+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
