Flatlock machine operator wanted in Franklin County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Franklin County, Kentucky. You will work at a busy garment factory. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Day to day you will operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance.
