Die-casting operator • Lee County, Florida

Now hiring: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Lee County, Florida. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. Day to day you will tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal Full-time with occasional weekends.
