Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Sweetwater County, Wyoming. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. The role involves set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; write and edit G-code programs at the control. What we are looking for: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection 3+ years on the tools preferred. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
