Tig welder — Lawrence County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tig welder in Lawrence County, South Dakota. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Part-time with flexible hours.
