You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket The role involves calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; read lift plans and method statements before starting; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; guide loads through tight openings into their final position.
