Join our team: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Johnson County, Tennessee. You will be based at a fabrication and coating plant. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting Day-to-day duties: • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations Six days a week, one day off.
