Immediate opening: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Daviess County, Kentucky. You will work at a neighbourhood confectionery. Day to day you will monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Food handler / hygiene certificate Full-time with occasional weekends.
