Tile setter — San Juan County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tile setter in San Juan County, New Mexico. The job is in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. You should have: • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation On a typical shift you will apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
