Immediate opening: general labourer (Illinois)

Now hiring: we are hiring a general labourer in Johnson County, Illinois. You will work on a high-rise construction site. Ideal candidate: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites On the job you will handle: • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer Part-time with flexible hours.
