Vacancy available: we are hiring a sample machinist in Kauai County, Hawaii. Day-to-day duties: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation Requirements: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
