Offshore rigger • Antrim County, Michigan

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Antrim County, Michigan. The role involves calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Full-time, day shift.
