Garden maintenance worker — Loving County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Loving County, Texas. You will be based at a private estate garden. On a typical shift you will repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers. Requirements: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors 6+ years on the tools preferred.
