You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Day to day you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; give each garment a final press before packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure.
