We are recruiting: crane operator (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane operator in Manchester, England. You will be based in an open-cast mine. What we are looking for: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Day-to-day duties: • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer £2,600 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
