Great opportunity: power float operator (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a power float operator in Brunswick County, Virginia. You will be based on a building construction site. You should have: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers The role involves: • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade 3+ years on the tools preferred.
