Moulder — Tompkins County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a moulder in Tompkins County, New York. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal You will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
