Tiling assistant — West Dunbartonshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tiling assistant in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. You will match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency. Requirements: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) Six days a week, one day off.
