Gas installation technician — Mathews County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Mathews County, Virginia. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations The role involves: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints 2+ years on the tools preferred. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
