Framing carpenter — Webster County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Webster County, Missouri. You will be based at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Day-to-day duties: • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
