Shakeout operator wanted in Muscogee County

Join our team: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Muscogee County, Georgia. The job is on the moulding line. Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor On a typical shift you will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
