Rigger — Martin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rigger in Martin County, Texas. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. On the job you will handle: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use What we are looking for: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Confident with standard crane hand signals $190 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
